What are the heat trace control methods?
There are three recommended methods of heat tracing control Sensor:

- Manual Control: No temperature controller or temperature sensor available in this option, the Heat Trace system can be manually turned ON/OFF using a switch or from the break panel.
- Ambient Control: Heat Trace system will be controlled and sensing using one sensor (RTD) placed near by the controller to read the ambition temperature, this method mainly used for a freeze protection for pipe heat trace.
- Line Sensing: This method used applying heat using temperature controller and temperature sensor for each line to maintain a specific required temperature mainly used on critical pipes in refiners and chemical plants, The line sensing Heat Trace system must be a proved by Professional Engineer.
